– Empirical and Molecular Formula
– Limiting & Excess Reactants
– Concentration Formula
– Dilution Formula (NEW!)
– Volumetric Analysis (Titration)
– Back Titrations (NEW!)

B) Redox Reaction

– Oxidising & Reducing Agents
– Redox Titrations (NEW!)
– Writing Overall Redox Equations (NEW!)

All the above contents will be taught using higher-order thinking questions which are more challenging. The above contents are the prerequisite for the first few topics in H2 Chemistry. While some schools might revise, many skip them and jump right into H2 Chemistry concepts, expecting students to be able to bridge from O Level/IP Chemistry to H2 Chemistry.

The way Mr Chua teaches is really what helped me to learn and improve super fast. He is very encouraging and enthusiastic about Chemistry itself and his use of analogies and anecdotes in class really helped me to understand harder concepts. Moreover, I feel like it was not difficult at all to manage the workload for Mr Chua's class on top of school work.

After joining Winners my confidence in chemistry improved! I found myself actually enjoying chemistry and looking forward to tackling new questions. Winners allowed me to fully understand basic questions which would subsequently build the foundation for more challenging questions. Their effective teaching method got me my A in chemistry.I recommend winners to those who are willing to work hard and never give up because Winners provide you with many effective practice questions and get you exposed to a variety of chemistry concepts.

I really struggled with getting good grades in JC - S grade in the mid-year exams then an E grade in the promo. The chem classes delivered by Mr Chua were very clear and concise. He made even complex concepts simple to understand. His notes would condense the topics into salient points which greatly aided in revision. I managed to clarify my doubts and strengthen my foundations in chem through asking questions throughout the lessons. I would recommend Winners to anyone who really wants to improve in Chemistry.

I decided to continue with Winners Education in JC and since then chemistry has always been my strongest subject. Mr Chua’s approach of ‘Get it right the first time’ really allowed me to have the right foundations in J1 which subsequently allowed me to do well in J2. It really saved me a lot of time in revision because I would not need to go back and relearn topics every exam as I would already have the right foundations.

Mr Chua is a dedicated teacher who helped me understand how to successfully master application questions. His lessons were always in-depth which helped me internalise key concepts better. His answering techniques gave me a lot of confidence in Chemistry as well. He was motivating, inspiring and always quick to answer my queries and clear my doubts! Thank you to Mr Chua and the Winners team for helping me jump from an E in J1 to an A for my A levels

Mr Chua’s explanations for the different concepts were always straight to the point which helped me to understand them easily and build up a firm foundation to do questions. Additionally, Mr Chua often shares how questions can be changed to test different concepts or adjust the difficulties which helped me to be more mentally prepared for unusual questions and thus have more confidence to tackle them calmly during examinations.
